Vested – Graduate Associate Programme

The Vested Graduate programme is a nine-month fast-track program within our agency. From day one you will be central to our success supporting both the team and our clients through your proactivity and ‘can do’ attitude. You will get hands-on experience working across paid, owned, earned, and social media channels. We take our work and ourselves seriously but always enjoy having a good time and creating a fun and lively environment.

Our Graduate Associate will work directly with the UK’s senior leaders supporting various daily functions.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Administrative support to account teams providing support with project management, and keeping track of deliverable deadlines
  • Media monitoring, list building, trend spotting, conducting outreach, and monitoring for coverage
  • Supporting media relations efforts, including developing drafting pitches and long-form content
  • Supporting the team by assisting with research and brainstorming sessions
  • Building social media plans for clients
  • Maintaining current work-in-progress records and archives of past project information as appropriate
  • Developing ideas for integrated work and content across print, digital and social media
  • Preparing account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports, proposals and other client communications and correspondence
  • Participating in and documenting discussions during client meetings and conference calls

As a graduate associate with Vested you will receive:

  • Ongoing training on topics such as presentation techniques, social styles, time management, developing communication strategies, client account management
  • Grounding in the basics of PR, Marketing, Social Media Communications and Advertising
  • Account support, traditional public relations, social media, digital, marketing, and content programme activity for clients, research, event support, and more.
  • Active client and new business development work
  • Experience managing at least one Vested event
  • You will also benefit from being in our environment of constant learning with outside speakers, lunch & learns and attendance at industry events all being a core part of your role.

The office is located at 82 Great Suffolk and the hours are Monday through Friday, starting at 9am. The programme runs from early September through to the end of June.
