Stripe | Account Executive

Responsibilities / Position Overview:

  • Stripe Communications is on the hunt for an ambitious, smart-thinking Account Executive to join the London team.

  • No single day will ever look the same, and the successful candidate will play an important role in delivering some BIG campaigns across an exciting mix of household brand names within the supportive structure of a team who are there to help you to be the best you can be every day.

Role imperatives:

  • Ideally would have previous PR agency experience working on a broad cross section of consumer clients
  • An appetite to deliver stand out results for clients
  • Attention to detail
  • Good media contacts across traditional and new media outlets including print, broadcast and online
  • An understanding of the news agenda and what makes a successful PR story
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Experience of working as part of a collaborative team
  • Passion, commitment and enthusiasm for what they do

The role includes:

  • Helping to manage a busy Press Office to secure proactive media coverage, and handling reactive media enquiries
  • Manage and oversee day to day account admin across clients
  • Supporting the team in executing creative activations, plans and news hijacking ideas of behalf of clients
  • Proactively pitch and secure media coverage that aligns with the clients’ objectives

The right candidate will have:

  • A passion for PR and delivering great work for clients
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Confidence and excellent communication skills
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude – a self-starter and team player, adept at working collaboratively
  • An ability to think creatively
