We are looking for an Account Executive to join River Effra’s growing team of reputation risk and crisis management experts.
You’ll play an important part in driving client excellence, acting as the glue between team members. You’ll have the intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn required of someone working on some of the most challenging crises and risks organisations face in the modern world. And you’ll thrive in a start-up working environment which encourages ideas and creativity at all levels.

Key responsibilities
Client Support
- Support with multiple client projects to deliver a client-first experience, helping to be proactive and solution-focused
- Assist with project management and day-to-day client deliverables, including providing administrative support, monitoring, drafting messaging documents, drafting reports, conducting research, delivering presentations and client briefings
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients
- Monitor industry trends and developments in risk and crisis
- Support live client crisis response efforts
- Contribute to internal projects such as marketing, business development and team initiatives
Relationships
- Able to work with different styles of working and levels of seniority
- Able to build effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Always embody the River Effra Values – demonstrating high levels of integrity and credibility, ensuring respect and that the job is engaging and fun
Experience & Skills
- Solid experience in the workplace, ideally in a related field
- An understanding and interest in the political, media and risk landscape
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and team working skills
- Able to work in high pressure situations and a fast-paced environment
- Able to work with a variety of different stakeholders
- Strong time-management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong research skills
- Intellectual curiosity and motivated to learn
- Confident to ask questions and raise concerns
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Is able to use technology to the advantage of the business
