London Borough of Islington| Media & Public Affairs Manager

  • Salary: £58,197 – £61,347 per annum

Could you be our next Media and Public Affairs manager? 

This is a fantastic opportunity to take up a key and well-respected role within the council. 

As our media, publications and public affairs specialist you’ll be in your element when generating positive coverage and influencing policy change. 

This is a leadership post within the external communications and campaigns team, working into the Head of external communications and campaigns. 

Responsibilities include people, budget and out-of-hours media rota management, based a minimum of two days a week in Islington town hall.

You

We are looking for excellent interpersonal, leadership and management skills, and significant experience delivering a proactive public affairs, news and media service for a large complex organisation. 

We would like you to be able to demonstrate experience leading on outcomes focused communications.
