Role Overview

As an Account Director in International Affairs, you will lead strategic communications and issues management for diverse clients including governments, NGOs, and corporations, focusing on areas like geopolitics, economics, and climate issues. You’ll manage media relations, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs campaigns, and play a key role in business development and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day operations for a varied client portfolio.
  • Craft and oversee communication strategies and stakeholder outreach initiatives, including high-profile events like COP and Davos.
  • Foster client satisfaction through creative and impactful campaigns.
  • Provide strategic guidance to cross-practice teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Drive new business development and manage financial aspects of client engagements.
About you

Experience in communications for governments, multilateral bodies, or corporates is essential. You should be eligible to work in the UK and able to commute to our Bankside office at least three days a week.
