Our Team
This role offers the opportunity to develop under the guidance of some of the best in the industry and gain first-hand experience working on high-profile international brands. The experience of the 25+ team enables us to deliver integrated communications, from corporate, B2B and consumer communications, to digital & social, influencers, analyst relations, content marketing and public affairs. Role & Responsibilities
The team is looking to recruit an intern to join our team at an entry level position and work with some of its leading global technology brands. The role will be varied and span the full breadth of our communications discipline and give the successful candidate a strong foundation for future roles working in the PR industry.
However, day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Media and political monitoring and reporting
- New business and client research and analysis
- Helping to create media pitches and sell them to journalists to generate coverage for clients
- Social media analysis, reporting and content creation
The internship also involves working on media relations, network coordination and account management to reach primarily B2B audiences. Key responsibilities will also include:
- Supporting the team on day-to-day media liaison, developing solid media relationships and managing pro-active and reactive media requests
- Helping to develop press materials with a high level of attention to detail
- Creating coverage and activity reports for clients
- Monitoring and keeping abreast of relevant industry news in order to build an understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape and how they impact clients

Our London Office
Burson employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
