Taylor Bennett Foundation Announces New CEO Koray Camgöz
The Taylor Bennett Foundation is delighted, today, to announce the appointment of its new chief executive Koray Camgöz who will join the foundation in late September.
Koray joins the foundation to lead a period of growth and expansion, as the charity enters its 15th year.
Chair of the foundation Sarah Pinch said “I am so delighted that after a strong competitive process, supported by Perrett Laver, we have found such an exceptional candidate. Koray’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion is writ large, and those in the industry who know him have seen that passion in action. His roles at the CIPR, PRCA and latterly at Ketchum have all had ED&I at their heart”.
Koray will be leading the foundation at an exciting time as we seek to grow our partnerships, our supporters and our voice on all aspects of ED&I within the communications and PR industry.
A recent report from The UK Black Comms Network, as well as research undertaken by the foundation in partnership with Ipsos Mori shows us how much work there is still to do.
Koray said: “I’m enormously grateful and incredibly proud to have been appointed chief executive of the Taylor Bennett Foundation. This organisation – and its award-winning team- have a track record of delivering exceptional programmes that change lives. It’s an absolute privilege to join that mission. I look forward to collaborating with the team, our alumni, as well as the Board and wider industry, to drive growth through new partnerships and champion wider cultural change across agencies and in-house teams that enables Black, Asian and ethnically diverse professionals to truly thrive.”
Jo-ann Roberston CEO Global Markets, at Ketchum said: “Koray joined Ketchum UK in 2023 and has made significant contributions to the business. His leadership in working with technology clients and his dedication to delivering creative campaigns focused on diversity and inclusion have been instrumental to our success. His active role in Ketchum’s Inclusion Council has provided a vital inclusive lens to our workforce practices and initiatives. We thank Koray for his exceptional efforts and are delighted for him to take on this new role that aligns with his experience and values. We look forward to continuing our partnership with him and the Taylor Bennett Foundation and wish him all the best in driving progress as he enters this exciting new chapter.”
