Summer Stars aims to inspire a new generation of diverse talent – applications are now open to candidates and employers.
The Taylor Bennett Foundation has announced the launch of its 2025 Summer Stars Internship Programme, creating a vital pathway for young, diverse talent into the PR and communications industry. Now entering its eighth year, the programme connects communications agencies and in-house teams with talented candidates from Black, Asian, and ethnic minority backgrounds.
The Summer Stars Internship Programme is more than an internship – it’s a long-term investment in industry diversity. Through paid internships, students, graduates, and school leavers gain foundational skills, industry exposure, and mentorship that prepares them to thrive in PR and communications roles. Summer Stars Internship employers have included agencies such as Four Agency, Grayling, and Burson, as well as in-house teams including BT and Barclays.
“Last year we decided to take three 6-month paid interns through the Taylor Bennett Summer Stars Programme. All three were highly impressive and it was a unanimous decision to offer them permanent roles before their internship ended.” – ” Marcia La-Rose, Group People & Diversity director, Four Agency.
“The Summer Stars Internship Programme is a powerful catalyst for change. For young talent from diverse backgrounds, it opens doors to lasting careers, with many securing permanent roles. For agencies and in-house teams, it’s an unparalleled opportunity to access exceptional talent and a stepping stone towards a more inclusive future for our industry.” Koray Camgöz, CEO, Taylor Bennett Foundation.
Applications are now open, with flexible recruitment options available to suit each organisation’s needs. Employers can choose between TBF-led or employer-led shortlisting to find the best candidates.
